On March 16, we received an inquiry from Croatia. This customer is looking for a mobile portable gantry crane of 5 to 6 t lifting capacity, max. working high is 5100 mm. Mobility on the ground on 2 axes.

After we got the customer’s inquiry, we learned the basic situation from the customer. The client is the Faculty of Maritime Studies of the University of Rijeka. They will purchase a a frame mobile gantry crane to assist them in their research work.

After the first discussion plan came out, we made the first quotation according to the customer’s ceiling height and span requirements.

After viewing the quotation, the customer indicates that the price is acceptable. However, because of the requirements for the lifting height, the customer wanted us to increase the lifting height by changing the main beam to double beam.

Knowing the customer’s high requirements, we thought of the customized solutions for other customers before.

Because the cost of changing the main beam of the portable gantry crane from a single beam to a double beam is relatively high and not cost-effective. We directly changed the main beam to H-beam, which is suitable for European wire rope hoist. In this way, the customer’s high requirements for lifting are met, and it also saves his budget.

The customer is very happy to get this offer. He said that since this is a project of their college, a tender may be required. At that time, he will notify us to participate in the bidding. All we need to do is wait.

A month and a half later, another relevant person in charge of this project told us that this portable gantry crane project is not currently bidding. They will buy directly from us through other means.

On May 10, we received an email from the relevant project leader and sent us a purchase order.

Now this a frame mobile gantry crane has been successfully shipped to Croatia.
